On August 1 and 2, 2024, we were present at the ANATO National Congress of Travel and Tourism Agencies<\/a> in Cartagena, a key event for the future of tourism in Colombia. At this meeting, we shared ideas, trends and, above all, innovations that are marking the course of the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategy with the WOW Factor: Design and Differentiation of Experiences<\/span>
One of the highlights was the exhibitors' presentation of the WOW factor, a strategy that we have adapted through a renewed focus on design and differentiation. We are always looking to offer new experiences that captivate our travelers and we know that in tourism, experience is everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

We were also pleased to reaffirm with our allies that we are on the right path, that of technology in customer service. We focus on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), fundamental tools to optimize key processes. From customer service with chatbots to price management through Revenue Management,<\/a> and data analysis with advanced tools such as ChatGPT 4<\/a>, we are using technology to make every aspect of the La Playita experience more efficient and personalized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Training for the Future of Tourism<\/span><\/h3>\n

Training our teams is another of our priorities and is one of the most repeated topics at the Congress. In collaboration with the Tourism Cluster and the Chamber of Commerce of C\u00f3rdoba, we are planning for this year 2025 a cycle of training in Power Skills such as communication, collaboration, emotional intelligence, persuasion, empathy and leadership. We believe that the future of tourism is not only about offering quality services, but also about having a highly trained and motivated team.
<\/span><\/p>\n

New Segments: Solo Travelers and Events
<\/span><\/h3>\n

Finally, we are paying attention to new segments of travelers who demand unique experiences. Solo travelers (Travel Solo) and those who travel to attend events (Gigs Tripping) are a growing trend. At La Playita we are developing experiences specially designed for these groups, with innovative proposals that connect our travelers with the island in a personal way.<\/span><\/p>\n

In short, at La Playita we will continue to focus on innovation, constant training and the diversification of experiences to remain a unique, attractive and constantly evolving destination.<\/span><\/p>\n
