This regulation applies from the first moment you and your pet enter any of the hotel's facilities, whether common or private. By definition, PetFriendly places are those establishments and spaces that allow you to enter and enjoy the facilities, products or services in the company of your pets.
– Pets are allowed as long as they are dogs or cats. Under no circumstances will wild species, animals such as reptiles, arachnids, birds, or other non-domestic species be allowed.
– Only a maximum of 2 pets will be allowed in the same family or group, on the same trip.
– Pets can only stay in private rooms, this policy does not apply to shared rooms and dormitories.
– The pet owner is and will be directly responsible for the pet’s behavior within our facilities. Any aggressive, reckless or negligent behavior that occurs, which will be classified at the discretion of our team members, will be the exclusive responsibility of its owner and may mean termination of the stay contract.
– The owner will be responsible for any situation generated by his pet with any client, employee or establishment, in which his physical integrity may be affected. Likewise, in case of damages, he will be responsible for the movable and immovable property that is part of our facilities. Therefore, by entering these, he exonerates LA PLAYITA DE LA ISLA SAS from all civil liability (patrimonial or non-patrimonial damages), administratively or criminally, for any cause or act carried out by the pet.
– To bring your pet in, you must comply with vaccination, health and safety regulations. In the event of an emergency, you must have your vaccination card up to date and on hand.
– The pet must always be with its owner or keeper. It must be under his or her care and responsibility at all times, and cannot be left in the care of children or minors.
– Pets must wear a collar during their visit and, depending on their behavior, must be on a leash. Their owner must control any situations of aggressive behavior toward people and other animals, as well as excessive barking toward other clients or guests.
– Prevent your pet from relieving itself in spaces that are not intended for it, and also prevent it from getting on chairs, beds, sofas, or tables, to keep our facilities clean. We recommend that you always carry grooming supplies with you in case of any eventuality.
– You should NOT bring your pet to our facilities if:
She is in heat
He is not in good health
He doesn't have his vaccinations and deworming up to date
Has a high prey drive, has exhibited any type of reactive or aggressive behavior, and/or poses a risk to self, other animals on the island, or clients and guests.
– Remember to never leave your pets alone in the rooms, to avoid possible damage to furniture or the property. In the event that they do appear, the owner or guardian will be the only one responsible for responding financially in the event of an accident.
Thanks to you and your responsibility as an owner, we will be able to continue enjoying our furry friends on more Colombian beaches.
