Paradise in the Colombian Caribbean

Isla Fuerte is one of those destinations that is still making its way among the places to visit in Colombia. It belongs to the Department of Bolívar, but is closer to the Department of Córdoba. It is a small coral island 3km long south of the Gulf of Morrosquillo and is part of the chain of islands made up of the Rosario Islands, the San Bernardo Archipelago and Tortuguilla. 

It is home to more than 3,000 inhabitants, mostly of African descent.

Fuerte Island: One of Colombia's best kept secrets

Isla Fuerte is the jewel of emerging tourism in front of the beaches of San Bernardo. La Playita is a tourist complex with 9 years of operating experience not only in the tourism sector, but also in entertainment. We have lodging services, a bar, a restaurant, activities, sea and land transportation, and a diving center.

With a capacity for 82 people in accommodation, we position ourselves as the main source of employment and sustainable development on the island in the tourism sector, and thanks to our strategic location and our bar, we become the star place for nighttime entertainment and for events such as weddings, birthdays, bachelor parties, friends parties, excursions, tourist packages and business retreats.

At La Playita, we provide our guests with a unique and authentic experience on the paradise island of Fuerte, connecting them with the culture, landscapes and kindness of the local community.

The adventure is complete, a beautiful hotel, a paradise island full of history and spirituality, the service from the staff leaves its mark, the Bartender, the planting of mangroves a unique experience. • Check in 3:00 PM and check out 11:00 AM for a late check out, we will charge a fee of $50,000 for late check out.

• We handle bank transfers, cash and card payments, this last dataphone option has a 5% surcharge.

• All reservations come with breakfast included until 10:00 AM.

• We do not allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or food outside the hotel, in its common areas.

• We do not tolerate drug use.

• Having a kit of essential medicines in case they are needed is recommended.
