Confirmation, cancellation and/or modification of reservations

Payment methods

For those who choose the option of making a bank transfer to confirm the reservation, they must make a deposit of at least 50% of the total value of said reservation to our savings account BANCOLOMBIA No. 105-000005-46. For those who choose to pay with credit cards or digital platforms through a payment link, this will have a surcharge of 5% on the total value.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Consumer Statute, the consumer has the right to withdrawal, since this is a transaction provided for in article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011, the maximum term to exercise the right of withdrawal will be five (5) business days counted from the confirmation of purchase.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the service has started. To exercise the right of withdrawal, an email must be sent to info@laplayitaislafuerte.com; if you made your purchase through that channel or for reservations on the WEB page. The money that was paid will be refunded without deductions within a period of no more than thirty (30) calendar days, counted from the moment in which the right is exercised in the name of the reservation holder or by reversal to the credit card used for the purchase.

Cancellation or modification

According to article 65 of law 300 of 1996 on non-show when the user of tourist services fails to comply by not showing up or not wanting to use the agreed services, the provider may demand in its favor to retain the deposit or advance payment previously received from the user; on all reservations in case of non-compliance by the tourist or client, the advance payment previously received by the user is retained; therefore, there is no refund of money after deposit until 5 days after having made the reservation based on Article 47 of Law 1480 of the Consumer Statute. However, the user can make changes to the reservation with two weeks' notice, and the payments remaining as extras can be redeemed in the services provided by LA PLAYITA DE LA ISLA SAS, which include bar, restaurant, activities, transportation service or on the lodging itself. In case a change is made within 1 week prior to arrival, in violation of the modification policies, an additional cost of $100,000 will be incurred for the first change, and if a second change is needed later, it will cost an extra $150,000. We do not have the option of a third change for the travel dates, and in that case the value of the deposit would be lost. The balance in favor will be available for redemption for 1 year from the date of the first reservation.
